About this app
ZUMI™ is an educational app designed for toddlers ages 2–4 and their parents. It teaches Russian vocabulary through audio, pictures, movement, and Montessori-inspired play. The app is built to be child-safe and parent-controlled.
What we collect
Local progress (lessons, words, stars) stored on the device. Anonymous app diagnostics from the OS, if you enabled them. Subscription status, processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
What we do NOT collect
Child name, birthdate, address, photos, videos, contacts, or location. Microphone recordings — speech is processed on-device and never stored or transmitted. No behavioral ad data.
Microphone
Microphone access is optional and used only so your child can practice Russian. Speech is evaluated locally; recordings are not stored, sold, used for advertising, or shared.
Subscriptions & payments
Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive credit card information. Cancel anytime in your account settings.
Children's privacy (COPPA-oriented)
Designed for children under 13: no ads, no behavioral tracking, no public profiles, no chat, no third-party social SDKs. Adult areas are gated behind a Parent Gate. Parental consent is requested at first launch.
Parental consent
On first launch, a parent confirms they are an adult, completes the Parent Gate, selects the child's age (2, 3, or 4), and consents to the app experience.
